The Filicianus Church is located directly on the Via Baltica. Outside of church services, it is open every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Pentecost to Thanksgiving.

Around 1250 the late Romanesque brick building of the Felicianuskirche was built in Kirchweyhe.
The massive tower, which is now the oldest building in the community of Weyhe, has survived from this original building.
