Thanks to the Schengen treaty, a simple sign is enough to warn cycle tourists that they are entering Slovenian territory. The Giordano Cottur cycle and pedestrian path ends near the town of Kozina. Here you meet your travel companion for the rest of the day: road 409, which you can easily enter by taking a left from the end of the cycle/pedestrian path.
