Artländer Dom St. Nikolaus

It's an imposing building – I wrote that in May 2017. Now I've been back and am even more impressed, even though I haven't explored much yet. The tower is visible from afar, so it's no surprise that the cathedral, with all its details, is the focal point of the town. The arcade-like archway along the main street below the cathedral is striking. An architectural feature that is absolutely exceptional in this region and looks very beautiful. The Café Sich, located next to the cathedral, is another highlight and absolutely worth a visit!

The cathedral is slightly elevated and offers an impressive picture due to its stately size.
It is 79m high and was built on the foundations of an old church from 1100.
The Ankum cross from 1280 is in the church.
