Beautiful view from the summit cross and a nature trail on basalt make a visit to the Malbergs highly recommended. At the nearby ski hut / hiking hut Malberg you can take a break to enjoy the beautiful view.

Very nicely located managed hut with a delicious menu and drinks menu and a wonderful view. Many hiking trails not only lead to Rome, but also to the Malberghütte.

Wonderful view, you really have the feeling that you are in a hut in the Alps.

After a strenuous ascent you reach the Malberg hut,
and has the feeling of having reached a mountain hut.
The menu offers many and really delicious dishes. Cheers to the cook! Indoor and outdoor catering, wonderful view. Behind the hut the Malbergsee, located deep in the valley.

Formerly, basalt was mined on the Malberg. This created a crater, which is today a small lake. A great place for a break.
