The most common tree species in the existing forest on the Roheide is the beech. In addition, red and pedunculate oak, hornbeam and sycamore are to be found. When buried in the middle of nature, up to twelve biodegradable urns are buried in a radius of a little over a meter around the tree trunk. The trees are marked with an inconspicuous number and the respective grave sites with a small name tag if desired. Only a simple forest path leads through the area on the Roheide. There is no network of paths leading to all graves. However, the undergrowth is removed regularly so that the graves can be reached easily.Source: meppen.de/portal/seiten/friedhoefe-friedhofswald-900000129-24701.html
