A point of historical interest close to the Manor. The Dovecote is mid 16th century, Sarsen, formerly rendered. Stone tiled roof. Circular plan with stable door on north side and low door to south. Walls slightly battered. Open timber glover with bill finial. Interior has 15 tiers of nest boxes. No ladder. Documentary evidence indicates a building date between 1533 and 1569.

The dovecote was built around the time that William Dunch purchased the estate in 1551.
Dunch bought the estate because of an interest in ancient monuments such as the Avebury stone circles. Circular in shape
