Best Hikes to Fronalpstock
Tips
  • Magnificent view of the Alps. The ridge hike from Klingenstock also ends here. It can get very crowded on weekends. Therefore, like most places, come during the week.

  • Great views and nice gentle climb up but very popular in the summertime so best to go early.

  • Simply great to sit up here on the terrace and enjoy this wonderful panorama, or to spend the night here, to experience the sunset or the sunrise up here.

  • Beautiful view, delicious food, good starting or ending point for the ridge hike.

  • Car-free village that can be reached by hike or by gondola or funicular. At the weekend, the funicular is the best choice because the gondola has very few capacities.

  • The way up to the Frohnalpstock is not too difficult, but peppered with wonderful impressions and a super beautiful rock garden.

  • Extremely touristy - although very scenic ... but of course, here it goes by train to the summit ...

  • The Stoos-Bahn, the steepest funicular in the world, up to the village of Stoos, has it all. Tip: The lowest places are the best because that's when you get the most out of the steep route.

  • In good weather you are not alone on the ridge path, but the view and the landscape are very impressive. You should have done the tour.

  • Taking the cable car to the Fronalpstock and then the ridge hike to the Klingenstock is a wonderful, unique experience with an enchanting view. This will always be one of the best hiking memories. From Klingenstock you take the cable car down and to the parking lot where you started. It's best to buy a day ticket for all cable cars. This is the cheapest.
