From the summit cross you have a fantastic view of the Fuschlsee. The sunset from up here is a dream, but the strenuous climb is worth it

The ascent to the Ellmaustein leads through a beautiful mixed forest. From the summit cross there is a wonderful view of Fuschl and the Fuschlsee. Fuschl Castle can be seen at the end of the lake. The summit cross is not on the summit itself, but a few meters further at the point with the most beautiful view.

It's worth hiking up here and enjoying the landscape from the bench at the summit cross. The hike is signposted with 1 hour. This can be done at a leisurely pace.

A few minutes before the actual summit (cross) where many hikers simply run past with the cross in front of their eyes - that's why it is a wonderful place (even if there is no view of the Fuschlsee - but when the summit is "free" you can still go up there ) - I like the Platzerl

Relatively steep ascent on the Ellmaustein. Walking sticks come in handy here. At the summit, a super beautiful panorama of the Fuschlsee.
Short nice tour, ideal if you don't want to hike all day.

Definitely worth a quick trip. No problem for dog and owner, albeit more demanding than the few meters in altitude at first glance. Reward: Top view of the Fuschlsee, over to Filbling and many other mountains of the Salzkammergut (Land Salzburg)

better drawn. Or choose a different descent route - from the main summit, walk along the ridge on unmarked paths towards the supply road and then walk down comfortably.

The paths marked on the Komoot map near the main summit do not exist - the supply path is 300m? beforehand.
