The castle Dannenwalde dates from the late 17th century, but was rebuilt in the following centuries again and again considerably. The currently preserved building was last changed in 1937. The mansion consists of a corps de logis, with two side wings that form a court of honor. Opposite the main entrance on the axis of symmetry of the estate stands the neo-gothic patronage church of the von Waldow family.

The manor house consists of a Corps de Logis, with two side wings that form a courtyard. Opposite the main entrance on the symmetry axis of the property is the neo-Gothic patron saint church of the von Waldow family.
Shortly after the Second World War, the house was looted, but remained undamaged. During the GDR era, a high school was housed in the building. In 1990 the building was largely neglected. The house was then used by the Naturefriends Association as accommodation for cyclists.
