Located just outside Cholesbury village, Cholesbury Camp was once an important fort. It was built between the 6th Century BC and 1st Century AD, but the exact date of its construction is unknown.
The Iron Age Hill Fort is well-preserved. Today, you can visit the 15-acre camp and see the oval-shaped area with its ramparts. Cholesbury Camp is a scheduled ancient monument.
