Great route that starts with a bit of a descent (and finishes with the same. Not much climbing, sounds of a babbling brook for a lot of the walk. And, surprised to end up turning back at the mother-in-law's house! Lots of off lead for the dog which is great, some decent drops into the canal at points which makes things exciting.

Up with the dog as far as the cloud. Had hoped to get to the top but not to be on this occasion. Although the bottom section of the path has been recently worked on this seemed to only be as far as the tree line where things dropped off significantly. Maybe this will be a next phase.

Great route until about 3/4 of the way through where it sends you down a slurry filled farm track. TBF the farmer has rerouted through the adjoining field but still a bit of the track to negotiate in getting to the diversion. I wonder if a right turn at the start of the farm track wouldn't take you through the adjacent woodland and then join back up.

Great walk, not too challenging but offers two great residences in the old and new castle. Good value for 3.5iles or so.

Great little route that should take about 1hr. It, more or less, is uphill to the mid point and then down getting all the hard work out of the way from the start. Works well for me and gets me out after work and back in time for dinner, which is a bonus.

Great loop from Leckhampton taking in Crippets, Crickley, Birdlip, Ullenwood before coming full circle. Killer climb to start but rewarded at more than one point with great views. The descent at the end down Sandy Lane is one of my local faves.

Great circuit circular walk, there was some fresh tree fall which was a bit of a scramble with the dog and my wife Sarah told me off for not offering to help her (although she says she would have refused). Wet when we did it but not much mud which was good.
