The path from the Wolfratshauser Hut to the Grubig Hut at 2,050 meters is a very steep and rocky path in places. For a short stretch, it leads along a rock face. The path there is provided with wire ropes that you can hold on to. Sporty hikers can also go here with older children. The path is strenuous but you are rewarded with great views. Alpine knowledge is not necessary, but sturdy (preferably alpine) footwear is definitely required.
