The Johannis Bridge in Nuremberg, often somewhat inaccurately referred to as the "Brückenstraßenbrücke," spans the Pegnitz River with three beautiful stone arches. It connects the northern district of Gostenhof (more precisely, Himpfelshof) with the southern St. Johannis district. It owes its name to Johannisstraße, which leads to it. Although its official name is Johannisbrücke, it is better known to many as the bridge over which Brückenstraße runs.

Currently 😁 .... Next to the bridge, what is probably Europe's largest plague cemetery was discovered this year. Located directly on the Deutschherrnwiese.
