The entire route is wonderful to drive, the road is narrow, but well paved, half is currently (07/2020) brand new. From Schönenbach you initially roll effortlessly and can fully enjoy the tranquility in the forest, the traffic is minimal. From the Schaffhausen saw, the route then swings steeply up to Grafenhausen.
