Best Hikes to Monte Legnone Summit

Tips

  • Monte Legnone, with its 2,609 m a.s.l., is the highest peak in the province of Lecco and in the westernmost sector of the Orobie Alps.

  • A mountain top with great views of Lake Como. Despite its height, the summit is relatively easy to reach: there are only a few passages that are secured by wire ropes, so in my opinion even without climbing equipment well feasible. By the way, there are plenty of ibexes living here from the tree boundary, who can also see the path at a distance of 20 meters. Definitely worth the climb 😉
