The Bastorfer lighthouse rises in the middle of the fields. Topographically, it is the highest lighthouse in Germany, but with a tower height of just under 21 meters, it is one of the smallest. And as if that wasn't enough, it also has a confusing name: Buk Lighthouse. This comes from the fact that the lighthouse is located between the Baltic Sea resorts of Kühlungsborn and Rerik and above Cape Bukspitze. You can visit it. It is usually open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in summer until 5 p.m. You can visit it for a small fee.

From here you have a great view in all directions and then you can dash down a gravel path again.
