The dome-shaped Döhmberg lies in the middle of the towns of Betteldorf, Dockweiler, Dreis and Oberehe. The 653 m high volcanic cone near Dreis belongs entirely to the nature reserve "Dreiser Weiher mit Döhmberg und Börchen". However, as a deposit of tuff and basalt, like almost all volcanic mountains and maar walls in the Vulkaneifel, it is of particular interest for rock quarrying. It remains to be hoped that this beautiful sight will not fall victim to rock quarrying at some point.
