Hiking Highlight
The Neves Reservoir is located in the Zillertal Alps at the upper end of the valley of the Mühlwalder valley near Lappach. It is surrounded by the mountains Hoher Weisszint, Großer Möseler and Turnerkamp.
well-known mountain peaks such as the Hohe Weisszint (3.371 m), the Großer Möseler (3.479) and the Thurnerkamp (3.418 m) tower north of the Neves Reservoir majestically into the sky. At the foot of the rock giants runs the famous Neves High Trail, which offers a wonderful view of the lake and the glaciers.
The area around the Neves reservoir is ideal for hikers and mountaineers. The Eisbruggjochhütte, which is also called Edelrauthütte, can be reached from here in about 2 hours, to the Chemnitzerhütte in 1.5. For the Weißzint you have to calculate about 5 hours, on the Möseler there are 6 and the Thurnerkamp a bit longer, the latter being the most demanding of the three mountains in terms of climbing.

Wonder, wonder, wonder, beautiful reservoir at dizzy heights (for me as a lowland person). The colors are unique and I can recommend the ascent to the Edelrauthütte to anyone who wants to work out for 1.5 hours
