Tips
The town of Obermurach was awarded the silver medal in 2009 in the district decision "Our village has a future - our village should become more beautiful". The imposing fountain (the lions indicate the reign of the Wittelsbach family) stands on the village square, here you can also see the maypole. It is a tradition to decorate the fountains and springs at Easter, and the population decorates the "Easter Fountain" with wreaths, garlands and colorful Easter eggs.
