The Aude is a river in southern France, in the Occitanie region. It has its source in the Pyrenees, in the municipality of Les Angles. Its source is in the Pyrénées Catalanes Regional Natural Park. The Aude initially drains generally north, turns at Carcassonne to east, later to south-east and flows into the Mediterranean after 224 [2] kilometers in the municipality of Fleury.
