Until the opening of the Eggetunnel in 2003, the railway line between Willebadessen and Altenbeken ran over this railway embankment. The tracks were dismantled, so that the railway embankment now serves as a forest path. The marked section is kept free by hunters by regular driving and occasional clearing and is very easy to ride on the MTB. Since the path has almost no incline due to its origin, you can make quick progress in both directions.
