Steinmarner Seedeich

The name is reminiscent of the forgotten district of Steinmarne.

Right behind the dike is a very nice sandy beach.

Very nice beach promenade and beach with restaurant, very close also the booth mile, with fresh fish, french fries, ice cream etc. Overall, the Cuxhaven sandy beach is about 5 km long and thus the longest beach on the German North Sea coast.

From here you have a wonderful view of the Elbe estuary and the North Sea.

Not only great for a hike but also by bike.

A wonderful stretch of beach from which you have a great panorama over the North Sea and the mudflats. It's worth taking a break here 😎

This is where the Elbe Cycle Path and the Weser Cycle Path meet. A beautiful bank invites you to linger. Great view of the Kugelbake, the symbol of Cuxhaven.
