Rundling Village Lübeln

The Wendland.Elbe Nature Park is home to several circular villages, such as Lübeln. These unique settlements are of Slavic-German origin and were founded in the 12th century. What makes them special is that they have only one access road to the central village square, around which the farms are arranged in a wedge shape.The Wendland.Elbe Nature Park includes almost 100 well-preserved circular villages. The Rundling LÜBELN is the tourist crowd-puller and therefore not exactly untouched. But today - on the first Sunday of the new year - the beautiful Rundling looks like an open-air museum without visitors.
