Where the Romantic Road, the Via Claudia Augusta and the German Alpine Road meet, lies the small, historic Füssen in the Allgäu.
The dreams of two kings lie at the gates of the city: Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle. In Füssen there are more than 2000 years of living history, which began with the Romans and experienced a first heyday with Emperor Maximilian I.
