This is part of the old railway embankment of the Klingenberg-Colmnitz–Oberdittmannsdorf narrow-gauge railway. From Niederschöna you can reach Falkenberg with a moderate gradient, just as the railway used to do. The route can be easily extended, especially towards the Tharandt Forest.
