Monte Campioncino is easily reached in about half an hour's walk from the Campione Refuge, and from the Campelli Pass in just under an hour. You can leave your car in Fondi di Schilpario or near the Baracca Rossa after about 7 km along the road that leads to the Vivione Pass.

Pass easily reachable from Cimalbosco with a normal training, border point between Val di Scalve and Valcamonica.
Continuing along the tratturo, you will arrive in a few minutes at the Rif. Campione (formerly renovated hut) and from there to the summit of Campioncino.
Popular excursion destination in summer and ski mountaineering in winter.

There is no doubt that from the Campione refuge it is an easy and quick destination, but doing it, starting from the Campelli Alta via prati hut, I think is really tough. Seen done, but then, personally I have always preferred the maximum result with the minimum effort ...
