An undreamt-of magical world opens up here underground. Thanks to the beautiful lighting, you can't stop being amazed, while the background is constantly dripping. It is not without reason that the Attendorner stalactite cave is the most frequently visited cave in Germany. After the access tunnel, which is only 80 meters long, you are right in the middle of the colorful world of stalactites, stalagmites and stalagmates, in the middle of the largest connected cave system in Germany.

    Opening hours:
Almost all year round, from 11 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., detailed information on the website

    Children 5 euros

Wonderful cave where you can let your imagination run wild. Been to many caves, but I haven't seen these great "curtain shapes" anywhere.
I just wished that you could

I join Stephanie from August 2016. The cave enchants.
But the admission price has changed in the meantime. I was in the Attahöhle on 07/30/2019 and the entrance fee is now € 10.00.

Definitely worth a trip! Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photos in the cave, but for that you are far too easily distracted with the stories of the tour and the incredible structures in the cave! Afterwards you can fortify yourself in the restaurant in front of the cave or take one of the delicious cheeses that ripen in the Atta cave home with you - the cheese in particular is highly recommended! Have fun and be hungry!

The Atta cave is actually a must-see if you are in the area.
