The Fort near Hinderdam is part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. The fort is located on the border of Utrecht and North Holland, on an island in the middle of the Vecht.

Hiking
We walked past this fort during one of the stages of the LAW Waterline Path. The fort is not visible because of the vegetation on the island, but it seems to be there. It is not accessible because it has been given an ecological purpose by Natuurmonumenten.
