The "Wandering Stamp Box" also stopped here during the 2009 season. Those still using the old Harz Hiking Badge app can collect the HWN200901 digitally.
But even without a stamp, it's an extremely worthwhile destination...the magnificent view of the surrounding karst landscape. Is there any truth to the rumor that, during the Bundeswehr's active service, a tank was once dumped in a sinkhole and camouflaged to avoid unnecessary paperwork?
