Cycling
and its architect Leo von Klenze. Framed by the Munich universities and the distinctive Ludwigskirche, it begins at Odeonsplatz and extends to the Victory Gate. The street is often used for celebrations such as the Oktoberfest parade, the Streetlife Festival, government records and also as a party mile for major sporting events. For cyclists, there are well-developed cycle paths on both sides, but Ludwigstrasse is one of the busiest streets in Munich and should be used with care and caution.
