The Spronser Lakes are a group of high alpine lakes in the Texel Group with views that are well worth seeing. The ascent over the Hochgangscharte is technically more demanding than the one over the Taufenscharte. Worthwhile day trip, in connection with the old basket lift from Vellau to the Leiteralm!
