Old city wall in new splendorDinslaken · The evening was cold and windy. But amber-gold color bathed the city wall in a warm, cozy light. Freed from ivy and freshly restored, the 25-meter-old Dinslaken city wall now shines in new splendor. After darkness fell, the section of the saved medieval city wall was atmospherically illuminated and put on display in the old town on Wednesday evening. At the Bollwerkskate, near the Voswinckelshof Museum, around 100 Dinslaken residents, including residents, Mayor Sabine Weiss, local politicians and sponsors, did not want to miss the beautiful play of lights despite the cold weather. "More light" - this demand was implemented with modern technology: three LED floor spotlights bathed the city wall in amber light. In addition, four spotlights shone on the Bollwerkskate. The museum and the adjacent small park are also to be bathed in more light in the evenings.
