The summit cross on the 332 meter high Goldberg was erected in 1975. Here is a very nice panoramic view of the surroundings. If you drive along the route, you can easily overlook the summit, so I marked the cross as my own highlight. The last few meters of the climb can be a bit exhausting. In my case, waist-high thistles blocked the way, ultimately I carried the bike up the few meters.

Cycling

The Friedenskreuz am Goldberg (in some maps also Kogelberg) can only be reached on foot or by mountain bike. The last stretch goes through a small biotope, so it is better to leave the bike where it is. From the cross you have a wonderful view over the southern Weinviertel.
