About the name: The small refuge is in the “Lehenbruch” forest area; The “Bruchgraben” (= small stream) is nearby.
Inscription on the front: "Built around 1900 for foresters. Damaged in 1980. Repaired in 1992 and since then cared for and cared for by the Iggelheim Singers' Association."
