At the end of the 1980s, a plastic bobsleigh run for summer and winter operation was built about 750 meters east of the finish of the old bobsleigh track on the north slope of the Floßberg. The track, which also serves as a recreational bobsleigh run outside of competitions, was inaugurated on October 7, 1989, and was named after the former luge racer Wolfram Fiedler.
