Hesselbach (derived from "hazel bushes that surrounded the stream") is a district of Bad Laasphe in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia. Today about 600 inhabitants live in Hesselbach. The altitude of the place is between 450 and 624 meters above sea level. The complete forest cover of the surrounding mountains is the reason for the motto "Hesselbach, in the wreath of the green mountains".
