This old depot was built in 1912. In 1995 it was placed under a preservation order and since 2004 it has been repaired at great expense. Today it is one of the largest technical monuments in Rhineland-Palatinate - a symbol for the former great importance of the railroad in the Eifel, a monument and a modern cultural center at the same time.
