GëllendëmpelThe name "Gëllendëmpel" comes from the Celtic and means gorge. The English glen = mountain gorge is also very similar to “Gëllen”. The inhabitants of Ahn call this pond "Kazendëmpel". Nearby there are also the field names "Gëll" and "Gëlleberg".
