ER1 Erpeldange - Gateway to the Eislek
A satisfying and physically demanding 20km loop from Erpeldange, the "Porte des Ardennes". Apart from a few nice viewpoints and distant views of Bourscheid Castle, it is perhaps lacking some truly stand-out attractions, but makes up for it with kilometre after kilometre of glorious Luxembourg forest and countryside.

The forest around Hobscheid is pleasant enough, but really this trail is all about THAT tunnel. Damp, dimly lit, arrow-straight and highly atmospheric, it stretches for almost 700m and is the longest accessible old railway tunnel in Luxembourg. One for those who enjoy something a little different.
