Very easy to walk in dry weather. Not entirely harmless in wet weather. A place secured with a chain to hold it against slipping, as you have to go over smooth sloping roots. These are slippery when wet, as is the path itself, which consists of a lot of loam and clay. Wooden walkways were created with a lot of love in wet and difficult-to-walk areas.
