The town hall, located in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, is a historic building dating back to the 14th century. It was originally built in the Lombard-Gothic style, but was restored in the 16th century after being destroyed by Spanish troops. The town hall also has a tower that was added during the restoration. The building is used for cultural events and exhibitions and is open to the public on certain days and times.

Fidenza is a charming municipality in the province of Parma, in the Emilia-Romagna region. It has about 27,000 inhabitants and is the second city in terms of population and importance in the province, after Parma itself.
Formerly known as Borgo San Donnino, the town was renamed Fidenza in 1927, in honor of the ancient Roman name Fidentia. The name Borgo San Donnino was derived from Saint Donnino, a martyr whose cult is strongly linked to the city and whose remains are kept in the beautiful cathedral of Fidenza.
Fidenza is known for its rich historical heritage, including the Roman bridge Ponte Romano and the Porta di San Donnino, the only remaining gate of the medieval city walls. The city is also an important center on the Via Francigena, an ancient pilgrimage route that runs from Canterbury to Rome.
