The Kaltentalseen are very idyllic. The path through the Kaltental up to the Alb leads past the historic Heidengraben. Once at the top, there are various interesting opportunities to return to the valley. For me, the old way from Erkenbrechtsweiler to Beuren is one of the best runs. The path starts steep, but still wide and then flows into a narrow path, which demands a lot of technology over a length of about 500 meters. Always a challenge for me, but also feasible for the moderately skilled.

Mountain biking

The cold valley is a bit off the usual routes and is beautifully landscaped. For walkers, a route from the parking campsite to the Kaltentalseen offers. For cyclists Kaltental offers a scenic and very gentle Albaufstieg up to Hülben or Grabenstetten. At the Kaltentalseen are several benches, which invite to a rest. Worth seeing is the Kaltentalhäuschen.
