South of the actual tourist bustle is not far from Ording this lighthouse located on the dike. On foot or by bicycle, it can be reached excellently over the dike. Around the tower a bank invites you to linger and in case of sudden rain there is a refuge near the tower (about 20 meters!)! A bronze plaque at the lighthouse gives interesting information!
Unfortunately, the tower is not accessible and there are no guides instead ;-(

The beautiful, old lighthouse is located directly on the dike between Böhl and village. A few benches invite you to take a break and you have a great view of salt marshes and the Wadden Sea.

A nice destination located on the dike, ideal as a stopover from the village to Böhler beach.

The Böhler lighthouse, which was completed in 1892, is a listed building and today serves as a cross-fire for the Eiderfahrwasser. Until 1914 the beacon of Sankt Peter was exclusively a day sight. The 18.4 meter high round brick tower is the landmark of the district St. Peter Böhl and can be reached by bike or on foot very well over the dike.
