The village has some pretty well-preserved old houses. Small shopping street with cafes and restaurants.

The OT village with its old thatched roof houses and the magical farm gardens is the most idyllic of all. Here you can stroll, stroll, feed yourself and drink. The small cemetery is definitely worth a detour.

Arrive in the village district and feel at home!
In the village district, preserved elements from the past meet the modern bustle of the present. The architecture in the village is characterized by both well-preserved thatched-roof houses and modern buildings of the modern era. Here stands the church of St. Peter, which gave the village its name. There is also the Eiderstedt Landscape Museum and the Historical Island with a rebuilt bakery, where fresh bread is actually baked in a wood-fired oven in summer. Visitors are immediately given a homely feeling, which is rounded off by cozy cafes and restaurants. Small shops and boutiques invite you to take a long stroll. The weekly market (every Wednesday) attracts residents and guests alike with fresh regional and seasonal products. On the south beach, which can be reached from the village district, you can relax on the green beach. At low tide, this section of the beach is perfect for mudflat hiking or a long walk through the salt marsh landscape. And horse lovers also get their money's worth in the village. st-peter-ording.de/mein-spo/entdecken/dorf
