Bike Touring Highlight
St. Peter-Ording is located directly on the North Sea coast and is therefore part of the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site. At Ording Beach, the sandwatt ensures that you can go far without sinking deep. On the beach in the Dorf and Böhl district, you can particularly well wade in the mud. As the tides change, the North Sea and the landscape change every day. The wandering sand banks, the dunes and constantly flooding salt marshes characterize the landscape. The tidal flats are flooded twice a day, every 6 hours, at high tide and exposed at low tide. Sometimes a mudflat to the horizon, sometimes the whipped North Sea: that's pure nature and wilderness!st-peter-ording.de/mein-spo/das-gibts-nur-here
