Bürstegg is a former Walser settlement and captivates visitors today with its ancient farms and small chapel – a wonderful photo opportunity. Until the early 19th century, 13 families lived here, each on their own farms, but by the beginning of the 20th century, all had migrated. Today, the remaining farms are used as high alpine pastures only in the summer.
