This high path offers the most beautiful view of the enormous glacier masses of the Ortler. The hike leads from the wonderfully situated Furkelhütte over the Goldsee and the Dreisprachenspitze to the Stilfserjoch, the highest pass in Europe. On the tip of the three languages is the boundary stone No. 1, which today marks the border between Italy and Switzerland, until the end of the First World War it marked the border between Austria, Italy and Switzerland.
