This extremely well-maintained facility is a flagship of the local community of Orsbeck – lovingly designed and maintained.
A fenced lawn with a bench under a tree surrounds the chapel, built in 2004 by the Heinz Thönnissen family.

Located just a short distance from the Rur River in the Rur meadows on the outskirts of Orsbeck, it is also a great place to take a break during a hike along the Rur – and not just for "believers." In my opinion, a visit to the over 1,000-year-old St. Martin's Church in Alt-Orsbeck is also worthwhile – a gem for those interested in history.

The chapel stands where the Baaler Bach (Mühlenbach) once flowed and, as it continued, supplied water to the Pletsch Mill in Orsbeck, the Wyhlak Mill in Forst, and the Ophoven Mill in Ophoven.

Architecture:
A wooden structure with a pyramid-shaped copper roof rests on a masonry wall plastered inside and out.

A conical turret is crowned by a chapel cross.

Two leaded windows give the chapel a modern appearance.
