Hanselaer Village

It is worth visiting Hanselaer. Hanselaer was first mentioned in the 12th century, and is even older than the city of Kalkar, which was founded in 1230. The Cologne Women's Monastery of Saint Maria had a manor with a church here.

Hanselaer is barely two kilometers from the center of Kalkar. The village, located on a ward, is surrounded by meadows and fields, which are crossed by ditches.
