Eisenhammer Castle, built in 1723, is located above Neuenschmidten. It served both as a hunting lodge and as the planned seat for the administrators of the iron hammer, which was built in Neuenschmidten in the early 18th century.Eisenhammer Castle is a broad, baroque building with twenty window axes, a mansard roof, a central dwelling and a high roof turret with a multi-tiered hood. The central axis is emphasized by the gateway, above which the coat of arms of the Princes of Isenburg is placed in a cartouche made of sandstone. The ground floor and first floor consist of plastered sandstone masonry, above which there is clapboard half-timbering. On the courtyard side there is a curved flight of stairs.Various outbuildings are grouped around the courtyard, including a residential building from the early 18th century made of plastered half-timbering with a mansard roof and various farm buildings. At the moment, however, the complex does not look very well-kept and is mostly empty.
